It has definitely been the highlight of our trip to Vietnam, even though the weather wasn’t quite on our side… it has been the coolest 3 days but super good mood and atmosphere. About Our Tours
What should I pack for the tour?
With Ha Giang Amazing Tour, you will be able to safely store your luggage or whatever items you do not need to take with you at our hostel in Ha Giang town. This is where we will both begin and complete the loop. With this in mind, it is recommended and important to pack light.
Essential items include:
– Small bag or backpack for clothes & daily necessities
– Light clothing
– Waterproof jacket or raincoat for the colder areas or wet periods
– Sunscreen
– Sunglasses
– Swimming suit/bikini/trunks
– Mosquito repellent (if you need)
– Cash for drinks (excluding water) and personal expenses

How do I book a tour?
You can book online through our Booking Form page or directly at our office in Ha Giang (based in Cozy Hotel, No. 16 Đại Lộ Hữu Nghị Street).
What is the tour duration?
At Ha Giang Amazing Tour, we offer a selection of tour types to suit everyone’s needs. Our most popular tours typically last 3 to 5 days, but the duration can be shorter or longer than this depending on your dream trip.
How much luggage can I take?
Light luggage or a small backpack is recommended for the tour, as space is limited.
What is included in the tour package?
With the various tour packages on offer, the itineraries and items included can vary
- However, all include the below, unless stated otherwise:
- Free 1 night in Ha Giang before starting the loop
- The local guide/driver (if Easy Rider package chosen)
- Bus tickets (in full package)
- A semi-automatic bike or jeep with fuel
- Insurance of the bike or jeep
- Nights in homestay or hostel through Ha Giang Loop*
- Breakfast, Lunches, Dinners*
- Tickets for attractions en route
- Ha Giang permit
- Support with your vehicle
*(amount of items are tour duration dependent)
Are the tours suitable for beginners?
Yes! Our most popular tour packages include an Easy Rider, which means you can enjoy the Ha Giang Loop as a passenger and take in all the stunning scenery every second of the day.
Alternatively, if you are wanting to self-drive, there are options available which can be discussed further with the team.
Where does the tour start?
Once you have been collected from your chosen pick up location, you will be driven to Cozy Hotel (No. 16 Đại Lộ Hữu Nghị Street) in Ha Giang town. This is where the loop will start and finish.
I have dietary requirements (i.e. vegan), can you accommodate for this?
Yes, vegan and vegetarian meals can be arranged when you tell us in advance. Please share your requirements while booking your chosen tour or contact our team before departure so we can confirm the options for your route.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, we strongly recommended to have your own travel insurance covering motorbike activities, as well as against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on confirmed departure dates.
TRAVEL INSURANCE is NOT INCLUDED in our packages.
Can I drive by myself?
Yes, you must have a valid driving licence and international driving permit (IDP).
If you cannot provide these, don’t panic! You can still do the Ha Giang Loop as we have our Easy Riders to accompany you.
What is the Cancellation Policy?

No refunds are provided for unused services such as accommodations, meals, or activities not utilised during the tour.

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or adjust tours due to weather conditions, group dynamics, or other factors. In this case, we will offer an alternative or a full refund. Additional compensation will not be provided beyond the amount paid.
